JLIC is pleased to introduce their new Fellowship Program in conjunction with Kesharim, made possible by a generous grant from The Shlomo and Cindy Silvian Foundation.
The JLIC Fellowship program has been designed to foster creativity among outstanding students, while training the next generation of Jewish leadership and bolstering Torah on campus. Fellows will identify a need or niche that they feel is not being met on campus for the Jewish student body. They will develop, plan and implement a specific program, event, etc. to address the identified need.
JLIC Fellows will consist of a group of entrepreneurial students with proven leadership abilities, who have demonstrated outstanding creativity and a commitment to Torah and Am Yisrael. Our Fellows will be given the tools and guidance they need to develop their visions into actionable programs, and the practical and material support to implement those plans. Our intention is to select at least eight Fellows this year.
Fellows receive a $1,000 stipend and a budget to implement their ideas on campus. All Orthodox Jewish students who are currently attending an accredited university are eligible.
If you’re interested in applying for this exciting fellowship, you can find all the necessary info at www.jlicfellowship.org.
The application deadline is March 8, 2013.
