Pre-Marital Classes

Please inquire with your JLIC Director to confirm their availability for pre-marital classes and/or to serve as Mesader Kiddushin.

While we love JLIC weddings, if you and your fiance will both be learning with JLIC, please complete separate forms.

CONTENT TERMS: Chatan / Kallah classes deal with sensitive material, including explicit Torah texts and Jewish perspectives regarding relationships, sex, and anatomy. By registering for this course, participants agree to:*

Learn about and discuss these topics.
Notify their JLIC Professional in advance if there are particular sensitivities or history to be aware of or avoid covering.
Notify their JLIC Professional as soon as possible if any topic, material, tone or style of discussion is uncomfortable and/or if they would like to discontinue.

JLIC requests $500 for classes and $1,800 for an JLIC Director serving as mesader kiddushin. JLIC's Directors see this work as vital to their positions and communities: Your payment supports the overall JLIC program and ability to provide for Directors' time, specialized training in pre-marital instruction, and teachers guides and class materials.

All payments are for intangible religious benefits and considered a tax deductible donation.
