In Israel, students are just as much students as they are young professionals. In particular in todays economy, the students very often work part time in order to be able to support themselves. We’ve been heavily encouraging student run businesses so we can all support each other. Yapha Rosen from Maryland, launched “Yaphas Challahs”, Yehuda Stone from Efrat launched his “Stones Meat” Lila Weiner from Teaneck,NJ is working on her Shabbat take out and giving her Maaser back to the community! Many students are starting to think creatively about their own new business venture!
