OU-JLIC at Binghamton Directors Rabbi Isaac and Tal Attia began the week on a high note, with an incredible “JLI-Ski” Trip, joined by 40+ students! Slopes were conquered, hot cocoa was sipped and a fun time was had by all! True to their mission, as the OU-Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus, the trip was preceded by a shiur “Scaling the Internal Alps: Judaism and Personal Growth”
“Thanks to the “JLIC fam” my friends and I were able to take a break from all the coursework that comes with being in college to momentarily enjoy the slopes of Montage as a much needed break. Whether someone was testing out the bunny slopes for the first time, riding double black diamonds, or snow tubing, we all had a blast hitting the slopes with some Krispy Kreme refueling along the way. Im already looking forward to next year’s JLISKI!”- Isaac
