On Sunday, September 8th, JLIC joined forces with the Israel Consulate General to New York for the highly anticipated Israeli University & College Fair. The event, attended by over 200 students and families, showcased the exciting opportunities available for Anglo students eager to study and live in Israel. Participants learned about the academic programs, campus life, and how JLIC supports students across 10 campuses and 4 communities in Israel.

The fair served as a gateway for attendees to explore degree programs offered by Israel’s top universities. Representatives from Hebrew University, Reichman University, Bar Ilan University, Tel Aviv University, the Technion, Haifa University, and Ariela University were present, offering insights into a wide range of English-language degree programs. Families were able to gather crucial information and even join a JLIC WhatsApp chat designed to assist students and families exploring college options in Israel.

For Anglo students considering their academic future in Israel, the fair was more than just an informational event—it was a glimpse into a vibrant community and a promising academic life. JLIC Israel plays a key role in building communal and personal support for the growing number of college students, graduate students, and young professionals (ages 18-35) making Aliyah and choosing to study for a degree in Israel.

With over 3,000 participants involved in JLIC Israel’s 10 university programs and 4 young professional community programs, JLIC continues to serve as a vital resource. The JLIC staff of educators and community leaders ensures students are supported both academically and spiritually, helping them thrive in their new surroundings.

This event was a significant step in furthering the conversation about the many advantages of studying in Israel, and JLIC’s commitment to guiding students through this transformative journey.
