Rabbi Ben Greenberg of JLIC at Harvard University Publishes His Second Book
Rabbi Ben Greenberg published his second book, Covenantal Promise and Destiny: Wisdom for Life through Lulu Press in September. The book explores Genesis and Deuteronomy for practical wisdom for living.
Rav Ben joined the executive committee of the Harvard Chaplains this academic year as Vice President of Chaplain Programming.

THE FUN DON’T STOP
New NYU Kollel
Our continued aim is not only to offer great shiurim and opportunities for chavrutot, but to create a community of learners. To intensify this community, our thinking was that if students coordinated learning times and locations, a greater sense of unity could be achieved. We have worked with the London family to raise funds to offer students a modest stipend for a commitment to learning a certain number of hours per week at the Bronfman Center. The intended use for the stipends is for a trip to Israel or for the purchase of sefarim.
Divrei Torah from Brooklyn College Birthright Trip
This summer, Rabbi Reuven Boshnack, along with the OU staff, led a Birthright trip to Israel. The trip is comprised primarily of Brooklyn College students, many of whom, are visiting Israel for the first time. Throughout the trip, Rabbi Boshnack has been an impacting force, bringing inspiration, Torah, and meaning to many of their excursions. An Approach to Bible Criticism by Rav Cherlow
The transition from Yeshiva in Israel to secular university is usually fraught with many challenges. One of those great challenges is confronting views and ideologies that seem contrary to traditional Jewish thought. In a program sponsored by many Yeshivot in Israel, Yeshiva students joined together to hear shiurim dealing with some of these very issues.
