Where will we go next in exploring the ways in which social media allow us to reach hundreds of students simultaneously? We have just begun to consider video as a method for maintaining relationships with students on campus, so we initiated a YouTube Channel for Harvard JLIC. At the present time, we are posting weekly video Divrei Torah related to the Parsha on this channel, but we also hope to include videos of events, shiurim and other moments. We have discovered that it’s not only current students who value these opportunities to connect; we’ve also been able to stay in touch with graduates of the past year and anticipate doing the same with the future graduating classes.
