OU-JLIC West hosted a memorable Chol HaMoed picnic for students and alumni of UCLA and Santa Monica College. With UCLA’s new academic quarter beginning on Pesach, the picnic was an optimal opportunity for students to reconnect after Spring Break, celebrate the holiday and launch the new quarter together. With high quality Kosher L’Pesach food and snacks, an energetic football game, paint night activities, board games, Mincha minyan, Divrei Torah and relaxed socialization the event offered something for everyone, with students lingering until it got dark. A satisfied participant reflected “it was one of the most refreshing slices of my Pesach experience – the food, friends and fresh air made it such a fabulous night!”
