Last week our OU-JLIC campuses at CUNY Queens College and University of Maryland were joined by Rabbi Moshe Hauer, Executive Vice President of the Orthodox Union. Rabbi Hauer went to Queens College and spoke with the students about the importance of being involved in the community. The conversation focused on the overall community and pastoral issues they might be facing. 30 students joined and were humbled by his words and humility.

Later in the week, Rabbi Hauer went to University of Maryland- College Park, where he gave a shiur to 50 students. The shiur was about using our potential to make the world better and was followed with a question and answer sessions with students. They loved asking questions about Torah, Jewish Community and leadership. The students expressed afterwards that they cannot wait for his next visit!
