Anaël, originally from Paris, speaks four languages and has long been active in Jewish life—leading her university’s Jewish student association, creating cultural and educational programs, and advocating for Jewish students. She has taught literature, history, and philosophy in Paris, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv, and is now pursuing a PhD in Jewish philosophy.
Joshua, from Australia, grew up in Bnei Akiva leadership, guiding educational programs, shabbatonim, and camps, and learning Torah in Yeshivat Otniel. He has completed his first rabbinic exam in Issur VeHeter and worked as a Knesset tour guide, Mashgiach Kashrut, and AI engineer.
Both made Aliyah about ten years ago and later met in Jerusalem. Married for five years, they are the proud parents of their joyful one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Dileyla. Their home is filled with Torah, warmth, and open doors—hosting weekly Shabbat meals and a home-based philosophy class that brings friends and community together.
